Breast cancer is still the disease of women with the highest mortality. The MO-GY Health Center has been conducting preventive breast examination with the BreastScan method since 1995. Slovenia is thus one of the first countries in the world to start introducing the method of medical radio thermometry for medical purposes. The BreastScan method is the result of international collaboration, with a significant contribution from Mag. Ivan Zrimšek, who, along with foreign experts, perfected the methodology of the method and received numerous international awards for it. In 2005, the BreastScan method received the highest award for medical innovation at the Innovation Fair in Switzerland and the highest recognition at the German IENA Fair. The BreastScan method is used today in more than 100 clinics around the world, most widely used in Russia, Canada and the USA (FDA test also obtained), as well as in Australia, Japan, Slovakia, Austria, UK and elsewhere.
Breast cancer in Slovenia and the World
Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) show that more than 2 million women get breast cancer in 2018 alone, more than 620,000 of whom died. In Slovenia, more than 1,300 women get breast cancer every year and more than 400 die.
Research and development is therefore directed primarily towards the introduction of new methods that would detect changes in the breast at the so-called preclinical stage (until there are no visible or typical symptoms). The BreastScan method plays an important role in this context.
The

important analytical base for further refinement of method,
development and research. The program includes all women who undergo
the examination using the BreastScan method, and in addition to
counseling and documentation that you receive during the examination,
